In 2013, a first series of Letters from the Future arrived, apparently from future archeologists trying to decipher what we were thinking back in the 21st Century.  Now, in 2017, another batch of Letters from the Future has been uncovered, this time focused on a single theme: the Incarceration Culture of the 21st Century.

On September 17, ARTifACTS and Credible Threat will use music, dance, spoken word and large-scale visual art installations to translate and interpret these messages from the future.

WHERE ONCE THERE WERE CAGES will begin at an undisclosed location somewhere in what is currently called Seattle. We will walk about half a mile on public sidewalks – flat and fully accessible – around a complete city block, ending near the beginning and near the meeting location. The walking performance will last about an hour. Dress for walking and for weather, since a little rain will not stop us.

The performance is free, but space is limited, so please let us know that you can join us.

For LOCATION and to reserve your FREE space, please contact us at

(206) 774-6438 (voicemail) or crediblethreatworks@gmail.com.

Leave your name, your phone or email contact, the number of select persons you would like to be. You will receive a confirmation reply with the location and information you need to attend.
